eduWeb Conference in Baltimore
The year before last, I was able to attend SXSW Interactive, and I came away from that experience with re-charged creative batteries and an adjusted attitude about my work.
I’m excited about going to Baltimore in late July for the eduWeb Conference. It’ll be somewhat strange to be crowded into one location with hundreds of other people who not only focus on web, but on web for education. The schedule for eduWeb has interesting things to offer. We’ll see how it goes.
Regardless of how the conference turns out, having never been to Baltimore, I’m going to try and do the tourist thing and take in a few sights. Speaking of which, this website practically fell in my lap by accident:
The Baltimore College Town website has great information about area attractions and of course, the colleges. Quite deep with information this site is. Much to browse. I’ve already found a few things I’d like to take in on my trip.
It’ll be nice to come home with memories other than University web nerds droning on about RSS and content management. Downtown Baltimore looks like a fun place.
